TOO MANY APPS ARE RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND

This is one of the major causes of overheating in phones. When you leave apps that you are not using running in the background, it may lead to the phone overheating. When you are done using an app, you need to close it so as to prevent it from still running in the background and then leading to overheating in your phone.

YOU USE YOUR PHONE TOO MUCH

Excessive use of your phone can cause it to overheat. When you use your phone too much, you overwork your phone processor and this can cause your phone to generate a lot of heat and which leads to overheating in your phone. You need to avoid using your phone every time and allow it to cool down sometimes.

YOU EXPOSE IT TO A LOT OF SUN

When you expose your phone to a lot of sun, it tends to overheat and this is because your phone catches the heat from the sun and it retains it thereby causing your phone to overheat. You need to avoid directly keeping your phone in the sun to avoid overheating.

YOU CHARGE IT FOR TOO LONG

This is another major cause of overheating in phones and it is common among most of us. You keep your phone plugged in for too long even when it is not fully charged and this is not good because you are overworking the phone processor and this can lead to overheating.

PRESENCE OF A MALWARE

The presence of malware or a bug in your phone can be another reason why your phone always overheats. When there is a lot of malware in your phone, it tends to consume too much memory and this leads to overheating You need to be careful of the kind of websites you visit and also the kind of apps that you install to prevent these malware.

YOUR PHONE BRIGHTNESS IS TOO HIGH

When your phone's brightness is too high, it can lead to overheating. You should avoid keeping the level of your brightness too high because it not only makes the phone overheat, it also makes the phone battery run down easily and overworks the phone processor.

USING A FAULTY CHARGER

Using a faulty charger to charge your phone can lead to overheating and it is also very dangerous to your phone. Using a faulty charger can damage your phone battery and also your phone processor.

LACK OF VENTILATION

When your phone does not get enough ventilation, it leads to overheating. You should avoid keeping your phone in places that are not well-ventilated. Also, you should remove your phone case once in a while so the phone can get some air.
